Jesus was Never Crucified in the Gospel of Judas and the Holy Quran
The Holy Quran denies the crucifixion of Jesus and tells us that someone else was crucified in his place after his facial physical features were turned to be like Jesus’. Christians insist that Jesus was cruciefied and humiliated then rose up to heaven and this was his mission on the earth. However, the story of the man-god or saviour was and still is famous in ancient pagan religions that predated Christiaity. Many scientists believe that the whole story of the crucifixion of Jesus was borrowed from these pagan religions. Recently many codices that deny the crucifixion of Jesus were found; prime among these codices is the gospel of Judas.
The Christian Gospel of Judaspre date the 4 Gospels kept in the New Testament. The Gospel of Judas was one of the Christian Gospels burned by the Church Fathers at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD because it contradicted what this synode wanted to enforce on the Christians. It was discovered in Egypt in the town of Naj Hammadi by a peasant in 1945.
In brief, the Gospel of Judas says that Jesus wasn’t crucified and that it was Judas himself who was crucified after his physical features were turned to be like Jesus’s. This is in complete agreement with the Holy Quran’s account of the attempt on the life of Jesus. The holy Quran says what means:
And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah Jesus son of Mary Allah's messenger They slew him not nor crucified, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture ; they slew him not for certain" (Surah 4. 157 An-Nisaa)
THE WASHINGTON TIMES reported in its number dated April 6th, 2006 an article entitled Judas stars as 'anti-hero' in gospel By Julia Duin . The National Geographic Society (NGS) unveiled ancient codex of the Bible that were found in AL-Menya in Egypt, this codex dates back to the beginning of the third century after Christ and that this bible named "The Gospel of Judas,"
The newly found gospel was mended after being found in 2005 and it was translated from the Coptic language into English, this translation was released on April 6th that year .
The Authenticity of the Gospel of Judas
According to National geographic:
“...but so far every test confirms its antiquity. The National Geographic Society, which is helping support the restoration and translation of the manuscript, commissioned a top carbon-dating laboratory at the University of Arizona to analyze the papyrus book, or codex, containing the gospel. Tests on five separate samples from the papyrus and the leather binding date the codex to sometime between A.D. 220 and 340. The ink appears to be an ancient recipe—a mix of iron gall and soot inks. And Coptic scholars say telltale turns of phrase in the gospel indicate that it was translated from Greek, the language in which most Christian texts were originally written in the first and second centuries. “We all feel comfortable putting this copy in the fourth century,” one expert says, "and Kasser is sure enough to devote the end of his life to it.”
Jesus was not Crucified
Before the end of the Jesus' message, this Bible recorded the following text as the news paper states “Near the end of the Judas gospel, Jesus tells Judas he will "exceed" the rest of the disciples "for you will sacrifice the man that clothes me."
It is clear from this text that he would be the man who would "exceed" the rest of the disciples and that he would be the man who would be sacrificed (clothe me) in the place of Jesus. What really makes me wonder is the failure of the translator to translate the word that synonym to (clothe) in the original text of the codex like the words in the holy Quran, these words in the holy Quran could be best translated "but it appeared so unto them".
God says in the holy Quran what means:
And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger They slew him not nor crucified, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! Those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture ; they slew him not for certain...(Surah 4:157)
It is noteworthy that the gospel of Judas is not the sole codex that talks about Jesus as being saved from crucifixion, also the Apocalypse of Peter and the Epistle of Barnaby say that Jesus was saved from crucifixion.
Please note that:
Luke 4:10-12 tells us that God will protect Jesus.
Matthew 4:5-10 tells us that God will protect Jesus.
Psalm”91” tells us that God will protect Jesus.
No one of the ancient famous historians wrote about the crucifixion of Jesus.
Many ancient cults believed that Jesus was a mere man who was never crucified.

The gospel of Judas was a gnostic which had nothing to do with Judas..
Unless Judas came back from the dead to write it...it does not deny the crucifixion, but claims judas betrayal was by the suggestion of Christ. Not for the thirty pieces of silver it is suggested as was his motive.
But hey...you believe what you wish. :D

What makes you an authority on Biblical scripture? That you know for truth what hundreds of theologians and scholars have proven as fake before you. Or is it you stating your opinion...;) which of course you are free to do so, however that does not make it truth.

If the truth hurts, you are not living right.

Lol...that's not a bad quote..:)
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

The truth is never painful, when you know the truth it is the most precious gift. Truth dispels all doubts and arms you with certainty. It does not matter how many people try to corrupt the truth or prove it wrong because nothing they can do or say can change the nature of truth.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.
John 1:14
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 8:32
and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
John 16:13
"But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
John 8:44
"You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.
John 4:24
"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
2 Timothy 2:15
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth.
Ephesians 4:15
but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ,
Ephesians 1:13
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-- having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise
1 John 1:8
If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Just to add...
If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair.
C.S. Lewis
God Blessing upon you too.
