please see this small research if the arabic name of Jesus is Isa عيسى or yasoaa يسوع ..
Joh17:3
(SVD) وهذه هي الحياة الأبدية: أن يعرفوك أنت الإله الحقيقي وحدك ويسوع المسيح الذي أرسلته.
(Bishops) This is lyfe eternall, that they myght knowe thee, the only true God, & Iesus Christe whom thou hast sent.
(Geneva) And this is life eternall, that they knowe thee to be the onely very God, and whom thou hast sent, Iesus Christ.
(GNT) αὕτη δέ ἐστιν ἡ αἰώνιος ζωή, ἵνα γινώσκωσι σὲ τὸν μόνον ἀληθινὸν Θεὸν καὶ ὃν ἀπέστειλας ᾿Ιησοῦν Χριστόν.
The name Jesus in Greek is Eses when they translate it to english they translate it like that jesus and in arabic means Isa عيسى because the e character in arabic sometime called ع. Now this is not the problem, the real thing is in hebrew translation, because some of translations of the bible sometimes depends on hebrew translation ****** of greek translation ******, all the sources are translation. and as you see above the verse from john17:3 in many translations shown that jesus in english, eses in greek even in some traslastions like the bishops version 1583 or near of it, the oldest version found ever or near of that date. And sometimes translated jesus according to hebrew "Yashoaa", they translate it to "Yasoaa" but it not right because the explanation below
now "Eses" is in greek:
Ἰησοῦς
Iēsous
ee-ay-sooce'
Of Hebrew origin [H3091]; Jesus (that is, Jehoshua),
now in hebrew the proof of "yashoaa" who mention in the Hebrew **** it means "Jehoshua", and according what shown in the **** Of Hebrew origin [H3091]; Jesus (that is, Jehoshua), and the evidence of that, in book of Joshua number 6 in Old Testament..
Jos1:1
(SVD) وكان بعد موت موسى عبد الرب أن الرب قال ليشوع بن نون خادم موسى:
(KJV-1611) Nowe after the death of Moses the seruant of the Lord, it came to passe, that the Lord spake vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun, Moses minister, saying,
(KJVA) Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,
(HOT) ויהי אחרי מות משׁה עבד יהוה ויאמר יהוה אל־יהושׁע בן־נון משׁרת משׁה לאמר׃
Now "Yashoaa" who translated to "Yashoaa" in hebrew
יהושׁע יהושׁוּע
yehôshûa‛ yehôshûa‛
yeh-ho-shoo'-ah, yeh-ho-shoo'-ah
and even is arabic they translated to "Yashoaa" in english still "Shoshua". this is an example of using the name "Yashoaa" in hebrew. But there is a lot of people epically the christians. But not not all the traslastions was used the name "yasoaa" " يسوع"
I realize the arab christian translators translate the jesus name to yasoaa for only one reason changing all traditions of names not for jesus even of all the biblical names, but I hope you figure it out by yourself.
